Most days Charlotte’s toddler-ness takes over around here.  She is at that age where she is full of energy, demands and giggles. And it’s wonderful, fun and tiring all at the same time!

While Charlotte is a busy being a toddler all day long—Miss Ellie sometimes gets put on the back burner.  She is such a laid back little baby, that sometimes it’s easy to forget that she needs to play with me too!

Recently, I have been really loving my one on one time with Ellie while CG is in school.  She is so alert and happy these days, I could stare at her for hours.  Her sweet little smiles, coos, and giggles make my heart melt.

Today, we spent the 2 hours sans Charlotte just playing together.  Ellie layed on the floor while I tickled her feet, sang to her and gave her a million kisses.  I know she knows she is loved, but I feel guilty sometimes that I give Charlotte SO much more of my attention when she is around.

I am just so in love with Ellie—I never knew my heart could grow in the way it has for BOTH of my girls, and every time I look into their eyes I feel so blessed.  Ellie is such a gift to us…she has made me a more relaxed mom and for that I am so grateful.

I truly look forward to our quiet time two days a week.  Ellie is growing so fast, I just want to make sure I am soaking in the precious moments :).
