Ellie’s Visitors
Over the past two weeks Ellie has had so many visitors. Most of our family has met her, and many friends have come over to bring us meals (thank you!!!) and meet our new gal. Here are just a few pictures:

My mom and sister Devon came to the hospital to meet Ellie.

Grams and Grandpa (Andrew’s parents) were our first at home visitors.

Gramps and Granny have now seen Ellie on three separate occasions! They don’t live in town, so this must mean they love her (and our big girl CG) SO much they just had to visit on more than one occasion. Gramps is a “baby guy”…he just loves infants and is such a natural!

My childhood best friend Jake came with his nephews (who are both the same ages as our girls!) and sister to meet Ellie.
And today, my handsome Uncle Peter came to Pittsburgh to meet Ellie. Peter is SO good with babies, just like his dad. He was gentle and kind with Ellie and she slept peacefully in his arms. We had a fabulous visit, and I know Charlotte was THRILLED to see him and Gramps and Granny.

I can’t begin to express my gratitude for all the love we have shared with friends and family during this newborn stage. Like my mom says, “there is nothing quite like a newborn”. It’s so true. I can already see Ellie changing and growing, and I look at Charlotte who will be 2 in a MONTH…and my heart melts. It all goes too fast, and I’m so thankful we have so many people lining up to see our little angel when she is so small.
